-Axél J.R. is the creation of Brooklyn based multi-hyphenated artist/entrepreneur, Axel Avin, Jr.

-Axél J.R. was born out of Axel's need to provide Black owned locally made protest apparel during the summer of 2020. Noticing most Black Lives Matter shirts were cheaply made and that the purchases did not support the movement they represented, Axel set out to offer something new: quality shirts with a simple bold design aesthetic.
